Our Christmas fair this year will be on Saturday 25th November from 4pm - 8pm at Preston road community centre.
We will have Santa's grotto and very much looking forward to making it all magical for Santa to be able to give children a lovely gift.
This years Christmas fair is on Saturday 25th November 2023 from 3pm till 6pm
Proceeds from this event are being split between three causes, Prostate Cancer Unit, Renal Cancer unit and free adult education in the community.

Spanner in event planning :(
Everything is still full steam ahead for the event on Saturday although I need to let everyone know about my nightmare weekend! We have had to change the timings slightly to allow for setting up. I will explain...
After a very stressful weekend of uncertainties after we discovered the booking system had a very large mishap with our hall hire! NOT TO WORRY THO WE HAVE FIXED THIS... The hall got double booked by a system malfunction with a children's party. With lots of discussions and wiggling things around we have managed to sort this issue! Although we now are unable to get into the hall at 1pm like before, we now have the hall from 2.30pm, so to allow stall holders and ourselves time to set up we have shifted the time of the event start to 4pm and finish time to 8pm. This still allows us to run the full event like planned.
Stall holders can arrive at the hall at/from 2.30pm for a 4pm start. I hope this does not cause any issues for anyone. I apologise for any inconvenience caused by the timing change; I worked my best to avoid the event being cancelled completely and this is the best I could achieve. With the hall fully booked in the morning the lovely slimming world team have agreed to finish earlier, the lady with the party has cut her party down to 2 hours and we have shifted the start time for our event to start slightly later. It has been a very stressful time.
